Helping Our Employees Make an Impact

We also believe that we can maximize our support by creating opportunities for employees to become more involved. To do so, Astellas has created the StarGIVING program to help employees increase the impact of their own charitable giving. There are two key components to the StarGIVING program, the Volunteer Time Off Program and the Matching Gifts Program.

• Volunteer Time Off Program
  Astellas provides up to five days paid time off to full-time employees to provide volunteer support to charitable organizations. The Volunteer Time Off leave is in addition to holiday or vacation time.

• Matching Gifts Program
  Astellas will match, dollar for dollar, employee contributions made to three very important organizations: American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and Starlight Children's Foundation.
